Houston News and Weather app good for

Excellent app for local news. I really appreciate the weather alerts.

This is a great news source. Notifications of news, both local and national, are timely and relevant

Some bad moments

When I first downloaded this app the alerts were great. News worthy and timely. It seems like something changed and major national or international things are happening and I get a sports update. This morning is the last straw. 6:15 am I get a news alert that I can watch the news at 7 live. News alert. Thats not news!!!

Too many ads disrupt this app. Give us an option to purchase an ad-free version. If Im looking for news or weather the last thing I want is another commercial. I get enough of that in TV.

It becomes very annoying to have to reopen this app and try to figure out where u were when it closes unexpectedly. Closes anywhere between 4 to 6 times within 20 mins.

I think this app is the best for news in the Houston area. The information is better than others.I would have given 5 stars except this app is to slow to open it either says cant load content or takes a minute or so. I even deleted and reinstalled it but nothing.

Other networks usually send their notifications up to a minute before you. Slower downloads too. Come on STAND FIR HOUSTON.

Would love to see more positive news, not just the ugly stuff that goes on but the nice and brighter side of our city too!
